This page explains where the business data shown in ClientSniper comes from, how we keep it accurate, and how we comply with data protection law. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
ClientSniper surfaces information about local businesses drawn from publicly available sources, including the Google Maps Platform / Google Places API and other public business listing directories. We do not scrape private data, login-gated content, or personal social media profiles.
Business information such as websites, phone numbers, and listing details can change over time. We refresh data periodically from our upstream sources, but we can't guarantee that every record is fully up to date at the moment you view it. If you spot inaccurate data, you can report it to us so we can review and correct it.
Where our datasets include business contact details that constitute personal data (for example, a sole trader's business email or phone number), we process this information on the basis of legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR / GDPR — specifically, our interest and our customers' interest in facilitating lawful business-to-business outreach. We take care to limit our processing to what's necessary for this purpose and to respect objections raised by data subjects.
If you're a business owner and would prefer not to appear in ClientSniper's dataset, you can request removal at any time by emailing privacy@clientsniperofficial.com with the business name and listing details. We'll action removal requests promptly and add the record to our suppression list to prevent it reappearing in future refreshes.
We retain business listing data for as long as it remains relevant to our lead discovery service, and we periodically remove stale or defunct listings. Suppression requests are retained indefinitely so that removed records are not reintroduced.
